The most original and outgoing show (as far as I have seen) was definitely of Vivienne Westwood. She got her inspiration from the street, from Africa, from Jack Sparrow, and of course a bit of Britain.

Now here’s a topic I found interesting: The unbreakable link between the fashion and smoking. Smoking within fashion circles has and still continues to be inextricably common practice, regardless of increasing smoking bans and anti-smoking campaigns.
Lately there has been a lot of talk about fashion designers being inspired by Japanese street style. Other than that, the unconventional look of for example the Harajuku girls have been used for show purposes and seen as style icons for years now.
Top supermodels like Christy Turlington, Stephanie Seymour, Amber Smith, Carre Otis, Amy Wesson among many others, are well known for sporting one or more tattoos on their bodies, which they use to express themselves and that – let me tell you mum – has not prevented them at all from having a successful career.
Let me introduce you to a model who’s face can be seen all around at the moment. Her name is Sarianne Hirvonen. Signed with Finland’s no. 1 modeling agency, Paparazzi Model Management, she is one of the hottest models of the moment in Finland. She’s the latest talk of the town, and she’s just landed the title of ”Best Model of the City 2009″.
