CHIME for Change!

Beyonce Knowles, Salma Hayek Pinault and Frida Giannini have joined forces and created a Gucci global campaign, Chime for change.

Catchy ey? The campaign aims to raise funds and awareness for girl’s and women’s empowerment around the world and to inspire women to be whatever they want to be. CHIME was launched yesterday by François Pinault (executive officer of the PPR Group)  along with the first short film from a series of ten short films that talk about the aims of the initiative and features inspirational women’s stories.

“I have always felt strongly about equal opportunity for women.  Girls have to be taught from early on that they are strong and capable of being anything they want to be,” said Knowles. “It’s up to us to change the statistics for women around the world. I’m honoured to be in the company of women who live fearlessly and set an example for the next generation of young ladies.”

Who better to front such a campaign than three women who are ridiculously successful in their chosen careers?!
