All snow lovers unite! If you will be on the slopes this year, this is what D&G has in store for you. They had their whole show devoted to a ski trip, featuring a wide range of metallic shimmery ski pants, winterhats, gloves, and layers of knitwear to keep you warm.

Here is the video I shot of the opening of the show, and I am hereby giving D&G the award for most annoying catwalk song of this fashion week. Up until the finale they put Mika’s overly happy piano tune ‘Toy B0y’ on repeat, which in the end made me want to throw the piano out of a window..
Nevertheless, for the cold winter days they will keep you fashionably warm in nostalgic knitwear prints with reindeer and snowflakes that showed in actual knitwear as well as in thin longsleeves.

All outfits included ski boots, and in accessories they showed a wide range of winter hats, ski sunglasses, helmets, bags, and gloves in their collection. The same goes for the jackets, there were suit, leather, fur, montgomery and bomber jackets. There were a lot of different versions of comfortable baggy pants and they even showed some one-piece pyjama like outfits. The range of Mickey Mouse and Pluto shirts was far from original but because of the layering they weren’t on show too much. Of course the occasional suit vest was also joining their D&G collection.

The finale made place for a black and white suit meets ski wear parade.

Here you can see the video I made of the finale (I had a good spot in the audience this time jeje), for which they used a slightly less (but still) annoying tune by Mika: ‘Blame it on the Girls’.
Again, the full show video can be seen on the site of D&G, with a lot of extra material on the show.
Next up is my last blog of Men Fashion Week Milan covering Iceberg’s traveling bohemian artist with a twist.

Suddenly, I have this urge for going skiing after reading this post.
I am liking the runway made of wood too, it adds to the whole “wooden house up in the snowy mountains” kinda feel non?
