Alonsize is a fashion brand created by designer José Manuel Gómez Alonso. This talented young designer already has a great history of experience, from designing for Devota & Lomba to exhibiting his collections in the showrooms of Pasarela Cibeles (EGO) and Maison (Tribal). His style shows exclusivity in elegance and focuses on elements of transparency, distinction and individuality. This creative mind has won some great awards with his designs, the last one being the Winner of the Young Designers Contest Madrid 2009 that in the end made him a finalist of the XX Runner Edition of the National Fashion Awards 2009. Let’s take a look at some of the pieces of the fabulous collection that won him the young designer contest.

This collection was brought to luxurious and flirty Ribelinos in Barcelona on the 7th of November, in cooperation with modelmanagement.com and Francina Models.

Alonsize: “…The collection defines the emulsion of universal history of the 40’s
and 50’s from the last century, surrounded by the beauty of classical baroque and the essence of the theatre of XVIII century.

 The purpose was to make a presentation that clearly indicates the style
 ALONSIZE, mixing the diversity of ideas connected by the same sensation, the
elegance and exclusivity in our designs.”

The whole event was surrounded by press and video cameras to capture every moment and the event started off with a photocall, where VIP’s and familiar faces had their picture taken, as you can see here for the models of modelmanagement.com

Everything was taken care of excellently, including our models that are in hair & make-up here for the big catwalk show of the evening.

And then it was time for action. The models were working the runway and enjoying every second of it.

The show finished with a beautiful fairytale like ending where the designer’s sister, who is no less than his muse!, came out in the finale dress.
